Temporary Closure Mandated by WA State
We want to make sure you have heard that Washington has joined a number of other states in issuing a mandate that all non-essential businesses be closed for a minimum of two weeks, so that workers can stay home and minimize the spread of the coronavirus. While it's challenging to think of ourselves as "non-essential," we wholeheartedly agree with the action. The most important thing is that we all be here for the future needs of the music community.
We'll do our best to get as many orders as possible shipped before the end of the day on Wednesday, when the mandate takes effect. There will be some instruments that are not yet ready, and we will try to notify dealers if their order is one of the ones that won't ship before we close. If there is some reason we don't get to you, you can know that receiving an invoice from us means your order has shipped. If you don't receive an invoice by email, we will ship as soon as we can, once we are back up and running. We expect the closure will likely be extended past two weeks, but we will wait to see how the situation develops.
While we are closed, we will have access to our email and will respond to the extent possible, though a lot of information will not be available to us remotely. If you know that you would like to place an order, please email us and we'll put your order on a priority list by date, to fill in that order once we are allowed to resume business.
We very much hope you all stay well! We are doing or best to stay safe and healthy, and to protect our community, and we look forward to jumping back in once it is safe to do so.
Best wishes,
Ray and Sue and the whole crew at Dusty Strings
